The Avondale Arts Alliance mission is to enhance the quality of life for the community of Avondale Estates by promoting vital cultural and artistic experiences of variety and excellence through funding, communications, and operational support.

The Avondale Estates Historic District compromises the historic core, or about one-third of the city of Avondale Estates, a planned suburban town with an “English Tudor Village” theme developed in 1924. It is located seven miles east of downtown Atlanta and about one and a half miles from Historic Downtown Decatur.

With the influx of interest in Avondale Estates, the city’s downtown development initiative, as well as the positive media coverage which have featured the community throughout the Atlanta Area, we have decided to leverage this activity and launch an integrated effort to promote the Avondale Arts Alliance and it's signature events: Avondale IN Bloom, Art In The Afternoon, and AutumnFest.
